Although there is no SAQA qualification for tour operator yet, we have aligned some of the Modules to the following Unit Standards that form part of the new guiding qualification: FETC: Tourist Guiding NQF L4 (71549). We have identified these as the generics for tour operations, and essential for the tour operator and guide alike. Therefore, it serves as building blocks for both qualifications, and once you have completed our in-house theory for one, you won't need to repeat the theory to proceed to the specific modules for each one.
